“I have always had a desire to draw and design homes and was formally trained, receiving a diploma in Architectural Technology on the east coast of Canada and spent many years designing homes throughout eastern Canada and the Maritimes.” I relocated to British Columbia in 1986 and, after a period of working in the industry, established my own design company. I am currently a member in good standing with the BCABD (British Columbia Association of Building Designers)”.

L.G Burton Design is well educated in the latest trends and bylaws such as the new government legislation of SSMUH (small scale multi unit housing). Throughout the years, we have had the privilege of working closely with many private individuals and home builders, designing beautiful homes that range in size from 950sqft to over 10,000sqft. Regardless of the size, the same care and attention is given to the design details and equal attention is given to the budget and time constraints.

Designing your own home is a milestone. We want this to be an enjoyable process for you from our first design drawings through to the end of the design process. You are a part of the design team! Whether you come totally
prepared with your design ideas, photos and wish lists or you are unsure of what you would like, Lionel will guide you towards creating a design concept you will love.
